Setting Up a Shopping Cart MDI will set up our shopping cart system to accept 1 or 1 million products. We have no minimum product quantity required to set up your system. The shopping cart system consists of the following features: Product Management Display products with unlimited product options (size, color, etc.). Include pictures of your products (thumbnail and enlarged view). Descriptions for each product. Schedule the inclusion or removal of products in advance. Hide products from sale without removing from database. Product search capability. Optional drop down search for quicker navigation by customer. Single click product selection. Payment Automatic retrieval of customer data for repeat customers. Support for local sales tax calculations. Customize your payment method selection. A "receipt" that you can print for your records. Configurable currency symbol. Use any character in place of "$". Full order confirmation by e-mail. Customer receives confirmation and you can receive a notice to two e-mail addresses. Process payments at time of sale or order fulfillment. Convenient order review screen. Securely login to collect your orders from your web browser. We can also have your orders download to an external database that you can integrate into your current inventory and invoicing system. Shipping Shipping information is automatically completed from billing information. Customizable shipping methods such as UPS, Fed-Ex, etc. Support for four shipping calculation types: Free, by order value, by region, by custom calculation.
